October 28
At 4:17 a.m. a bear report came in from Rudolph Walton Circle, where trash was strewn. Police issued a warning to a resident for having a bear attractant.
At 5:27 a.m. a report of a bear came in from Kimsham Street. Police issued a warning to a resident for having a bear attractant.
At 9:58 a.m. a caller in the 2900 block of HPR said a bear had broken into her shed and caused damage.
At 2:37 p.m. a welfare check was requested in the 800 block of HPR.
A landlord-tenant dispute on Hirst Street was reported at 4:18 p.m.
October 29
Suspicious activity was reported in the 4200 block of HPR at 4:33 a.m.
A report of drunkenness was received at 5:11 a.m. at Centennial Hall.
A shoplifting report came in from the 700 block of HPR at 11:47 a.m. The business declined to press charges.
A found property report came in from the 300 block of Seward Street at 11:51 a.m.
An animal call from HPR and the Nelson Logging Road was logged at 1:44 p.m.
A traffic complaint came in from SMC and Lake Street at 8:08 p.m.
At 10:52 p.m. an incidence of drunkenness was reported in the 1800 block of HPR.
October 30
At 2 a.m. an assault was reported at a downtown bar.
Suspicious activity was reported at Crescent Harbor at 1:16 a.m.
A noise complaint came in from Thomas Young Circle at 1:38 a.m.
A report of a car in a ditch near the Nelson logging road came in at 11:51 a.m. Police are investigating.
Adults were reported misusing a BB gun at a store.
A welfare check was requested at the skate park at 3:55 p.m.
Trash was reported on the Cross Trail.
A citizen was assisted in the 1300 block of Seward Avenue at 10:50 p.m.
At 10:50 p.m. a citizen in the 800 block of HPR was given assistance.
October 31
At 2:17 a.m. a bear was reported in the area of Rudolph Walton Circle but it was gone when officers arrived.
At 4:42 a.m. an animal call came in from the 2300 block of HPR.

Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls and one false alarm fire call on Friday; one ambulance call and one false fire alarm on Saturday; and five ambulance calls Sunday.
