    The following calls were received by police by 8 a.m. today:
October 3
    At 8 a.m. a husky-mix was reported missing from DeGroff Street.
    TSA asked police to pick up 75 rounds of ammunition found in a carry-on bag at the airport.
    Police received a domestic violence order to serve.
    At 1:36 p.m. a man passed out on the lawn of the post office was awakened by police. He was able to care for himself, police said.
    A store reported catching a shoplifter. A theft charge will be forwarded; a criminal trespass order was served.
    At 5 p.m. a traffic accident was reported in the 500 block of HPR. A tow truck was called for one of the vehicles, and no injuries were reported.
    A woman told police she no longer wanted a specified man in her home. She was told she will have to go through the eviction process.
    At 6:32 p.m. a woman was passed out at Pioneer Park. She blew a PBT of .416 and was taken to a hospital.
    At 7 p.m. a man was found intoxicated at a church. He was given a trespass warning, and told he could return to move his vehicle.
    At 7:42 p.m. a woman reported her husband had kicked her out of their residence, and has been threatening to harm himself. Police talked to the couple, and found the man to be fine and not wanting to hurt himself or others.
    Police are investigating a theft at a Lincoln Street store.
October 4
    At 5:19 a.m. a 911 caller said she was cold, and had been unable to reach her brother. An ambulance picked her up and took her to the hospital.
   
    Sitka Police

    Robert L. Hughes, 31, was charged Wednesday with criminal trespass.
   
    Emergency Calls

    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:13 a.m., 3:33 p.m. and 6:44 p.m. Wednesday, and 5:26 a.m. and 10:56 a.m. today.

    Coast Guard

    Coast Guard Air Station Sitka launched around noon on Wednesday to pick up a man who set off his own EPIRB after he experienced engine trouble aboard his 40-foot boat near Yakutat, the Coast Guard said.
    Troopers arrived on scene first, and picked up the man before the Coast Guard arrived, a spokesman said.
