At 9:15 a.m. a complaint of harassment came in from the library.
A case of trespassing was reported on the Gavan cross trail at 9:59 a.m.
A traffic accident with damage was reported at 11:28 a.m. No location was listed on the police report.
A drunkenness call came in at 12:28 p.m. from Price Street.
A traffic accident with damage was reported on Katlian Street at 1:20 p.m.
Citizen assist calls came in from the hospital at 1:28 p.m., from the Sitka Fine Arts Camp at 1:39 p.m., from Katlian Street at 2:16 p.m., and Seward Street at 2:33 p.m.
At 5:42 p.m. a welfare check on Andrew P. Hope Street was requested.
A traffic complaint in the 2700 block of HPR was filed at 5:50 p.m.
At 5:56 p.m. a welfare check was requested at Totem Park.
Suspicious activity was reported on Finn Alley at 7:42 p.m.
At 9:19 p.m. a bear was reported in the 200 block of Lakeview Drive.
Suspicious activity was reported on Japonski at 10:47 p.m.
At 11:48 p.m. suspicious activity was reported on Pherson Street.
October 3
At 12:01 a.m. drunkenness was reported in the 200 block of Katlian.
At 2:12 p.m. a disturbance was reported at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp.
At 2:31 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Katlian.
At 6:44 p.m. a traffic complaint in the 1800 block of HPR was filed.
A sex offense is under investigation.
A welfare check at ANB Harbor parking lot was requested at 9:42 p.m.
At 10:04 p.m. a caller complained of noise on Kaagwaantaan Street.
Reports of bears came in at 10:33 p.m. from Charlie Joseph Street and at 10:56 p.m. from Peter Simpson Road.
October 4
Reports of bears came in at 12:37 a.m. from Charlie Joseph Street; at 1:09 a.m. from Peter Simpson Road; at 3:53 a.m. from Gil Truitt Court, and at 3:58 a.m. again from Charlie Joseph Street.
Suspicious activity on Lance Drive came in at 1:47 a.m.
A welfare check was requested in the 300 block of Lincoln Street at 11:20 a.m.
At 2:32 p.m. a welfare check was requested in the 200 block of Lincoln Street.
At 2:59 p.m. suspicious activity was requested on Japonski Island.
At 7:06 p.m. suspicious activity was reported on Lillian Drive.
Reports of bears came in at 8:17 p.m. from the 1300 block of SMC; at 9:41 p.m. from the 300 block of SMC; and at 10:26 p.m. from Charlie Joseph Street.
October 5
At 1:35 a.m. a bear was reported on Indian River Road; at 1:54 a.m. one was reported on Peter Simpson Road; at 2:22 a.m. one was seen in the 900 block of Lincoln Street; at 2:25 a.m. one was reported at Arrowhead Trailer Court; and at 2:37 a.m. in the 1300 block of SMC.
Sitka Police
Emilyann R. Atkinson, 30, was charged with driving under the influence Saturday.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Friday, six on Saturday and four on Sunday.
Two false alarms came in over the weekend.
