Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

October 6

At 12:13 a.m. a domestic problem was reported downtown.

At 5 a.m. a bear was reported in the 800 block of Pherson Street.

A civil dispute was reported in the 1800 block of SMC at 11:50 a.m.

At noon criminal mischief was reported on Park Street.

Animal cruelty was reported in the 3300 block of HPR at 4:25 p.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 2200 block of SMC at 5:16 p.m.

   Criminal mischief was reported on Rudolph Walton Circle at 5:57 p.m.

At 6:10 p.m. an animal problem was reported in the 1200 block of HPR.

A domestic problem was reported at 8:55 p.m. in the 2800 block of HPR.

A noise complaint from Cedar Beach Road was made at 11:16 p.m.

October 7

At 2 a.m. a bear was reported on Tilson Street.

An animal problem was reported on Remington Way at 5:57 a.m.

 

Sitka Police

Sig Rutter, 65, was charged with a stalking order violation Tuesday.

Jason Sigmund, 38, was charged Tuesday with assault in the fifth degree, domestic violence.

Sitka Fire Department received an ambulance calls at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday.
