Dear Editor: I would like to thank all the old car, unique vehicles, and tiny truck owners and riders that participated in this year’s Sitka Annual Old, Unique Car, and Tiny Truck, 4th of July Parade, plus one older Harley Davidson motorcycle.
We left Whale Park, went all the way to the HPR Rec and came back to Sitka High School. Again, our neighbors were along the various streets waving flags and giving us thumbs up. Thank you to them, thank you to the drivers and their passengers for showing up. The vehicles were, to my thinking, all unique, and in excellent shape, with a wide assortment. Tooting, beeping, and hooting – we made our way on our route.
