Sitka Police Department received the following calls in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. today.

May 13

A vehicle left parked in the 300 block of Peterson Street and one left at the RV parking lot at Sealing Cove were tagged as abandoned.

A man who had been parked on Fortress of the Bear property for some time left after talking with an officer.

At noon a man who had become aggressive at a residential facility was taken to the hospital after talking to an officer.

A woman who had been causing disturbances around town was taken to the hospital.

At 7:58 p.m. a vehicle was reported broken down in the roundabout. A tow truck moved it away.

Between 9:01 p.m. and 11:37 p.m., security checks were made at downtown bars and Whale Park.

May 14

At 1:58 a.m. an officer saw two people fall down in the 200 block of Katlian Street. They were given rides home.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received seven ambulance calls Tuesday.
