Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
May 21
A woman asked police to document an incident that occurred a few years ago. Police complied.
Police were advised that teens had posted photos of other naked teens.
An out-of-town caller asked for a welfare check on a relative who had come to Sitka and hadn't been heard from. Police located the relative, who said he was fine.
A clinic reported a dog had bitten someone. The animal control officer was to follow up on the call.
May 22
At 12:54 a.m. a caller reported a bear and two cubs were back again in the 2300 block of HPR. The caller said he had sprayed them and they ran off.
At 3:38 a.m. three bears were reported spreading garbage on Toivo Circle.
At 5:09 a.m. a caller on Knutson Drive complained about a noisy rooster in the neighborhood. The matter was to be referred to the animal control officer.
