Dear Editor: Mahalo! A very heartfelt thank you to all who helped to make the Sitka Pregnancy Center’s Gala such a huge success.
The Sitka Emblem Club outdid themselves with the great Hawaiian pupu’s. The donations from Hames Corporation, Ace Hardware, Harry Race Pharmacy and Sitka’s amazing artists were awesome!
The many hands who helped set up and break down made things run so smoothly and our auctioneer and his apprentice had us happily spending money. To all of you who braved the blizzard to come out and support our Sitka families – you are so appreciated. We are thinking based on this year’s theme and the weather, that maybe next year we should do a ‘‘Night in the Arctic.’’
