Ron Cunningham Dies; Fisherman was Age 56

Ronnie Cunningham passed away peacefully August 17, 2022, in his home in Lake Havasu, Arizona, just after returning home from trolling the Sitka Alaska Seas. He was 56.

Ronnie was born May 29, 1966, and grew up in Marysville, Washington.

After attending Marysville Pilchuck, working mostly with Bachmann Construction and Gaffney Construction. He was also a HVAC installer.

His true passion was fishing. Later he became an owner/skipper of the Ragged Glory, Cinnamon Girl, and then the Juanita C. He had loved to fish from the time he was a young boy fishing at Silver Lake in Everett, Washington. He learned the skill from his father, Phil Cunningham, the previous owner of the Juanita C.

Ronnie leaves behind two sisters, Kathy Pickett and Susan Bearer; three brothers, Rick Bachmann, Steve Bachmann and Michael Pickett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The highlight of his life was his daughter Karli Cunningham and his 3-year-old granddaughter Remmi.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Bachmann and his stepfather Charles O. Bachmann.

Ronnie will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, and fellow fishermen. Ronnie came into this world going at high speed and left just as quickly, his family said.
