Sample Ballot Viewable Ahead of Nov.3 Election

In the lead-up to state elections, the Alaska Division of Elections usually publishes sample ballots in newspapers throughout the state.

This year the Sentinel did not receive an order from the state for publishing a sample ballot in the paper prior to the Nov. 3 election.

As a courtesy to our readers, and for the information of voters making choices on a complex ballot, the Sentinel is printing a sample ballot on Page 2 of today's edition, reproduced only slightly smaller than the official ballot.

As always, the Sentinel encourages all qualified voters to cast an informed ballot Tuesday.
