Scott A. Brown
Dies at Age 58
Scott A. Brown, an Alaskan for most of his life, died June 18 of heart failure in Anchorage. He was 58.

He was born Feb. 13, 1957, in Weisbaden, Germany, where his father was stationed in the U.S. Air Force. He grew up and attended school in Ketchikan, then lived for about 15 years in Stanwood, Wash., before returning to Alaska, which he considered home.
Scott enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank H. Brown, and his stepfather, George F. Ridley.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ridley of Sitka; sister Charisse Breedlove (John) of Winlock, Wash.; brother Dave Brown (Lynn) of Sparks, Nev.; and stepsister Karen Barnes (James) of Craig.
