Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

August 31

At 1:15 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Naomi Kanosh Lane.

At 5:07 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Harbor Drive.

At 11:18 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at a business at Maksoutof and Lincoln streets.

A hit-and-run was reported at McDonald’s at 3:38 p.m..

At 4:51 p.m. a bear was reported at 4010 HPR.

At 7:13 p.m. a bear was reported on Kruzof Street.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of Lake Street at 7:17 p.m.

A case of drunkenness was reported at 8:49 p.m. on Cedar Beach Road.

At 11:32 p.m. a disturbance was reported on Siginaka Way.

September 1

At 12:08 a.m. a disturbance was reported in the 700 block of  Katlian Street.

At 12:50 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Katlian, and at  1:30 a.m. a disturbance was reported there.

Citizen contact was logged at the ANB Harbor parking lot at 3:02 a.m.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Monday and one this morning.

 

At 8:12 a.m. today an engine was sent to 601 Alice Loop Road but it was a false alarm.
