Police Blotter

Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

September 9

At 8:42 a.m. a theft at Wells Fargo bank was reported.

A motorist was assisted on Kaagwaantaan Street.

At 10:26 a.m. on Andrews Street.

At 11 a.m. a downtown business reported a theft.

A possible case of fraud was reported on Etolin Street.

At 1:46 p.m. a traffic accident that injured the driver was reported in the 2300 block of HPR.

At 1:49 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at the Coast Guard Air Station.

A welfare check was requested in the 400 block of HPR at 5:09 p.m.

At 7:56 p.m. a welfare check was requested at the Coliseum Theater.

Sitka Police

Moses Alley Jarquin, 20, was charged Wednesday morning with theft in the second degree, misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree, and violating conditions of release.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Wednesday and two this morning.
