    The following calls were received by police by 8 a.m. today:
September 14
    A garage in the 1700 block of Edgecumbe Drive was reported broken into.
    At 3 p.m. a caller said an  intoxicated man was angry and had thrown his headphones on the ground in the 700 block of Lincoln Street, scaring a boy walking past. The man told officers his mother had called him, angering him.
    At 3:25 p.m. a caller said a man who has been sleeping in a vehicle on Lake Street appeared not to be doing well. Officers found no one in the vehicle.
    At 4 p.m. a caller said a dog had been barking in back of a pickup all day in the 100 block of Lincoln. The dispatcher tried calling the owner, and on the second call a woman closed the camper but left the dog inside.
    A man found lying in a downtown bank drive-through registered a .389 PBT and was taken to a hospital.
    At 6:33 p.m. a man was reported to have fallen off the rock at the Block House. He was taken to a hospital.
    At 11:59 p.m. a fight was reported in progress in front of a downtown bar. One man was taken to a hospital and three others were given warnings.
September 15
    An Edgecumbe Drive resident said tools were stolen out of his garage.
    At 1:08 p.m. a two-vehicle traffic accident was reported on Raptor Way. No other details were given.
    A resident in the 1200 block of HPR reported a theft from her garage.
    A caller said a man in front of Centennial Hall was shaking a white substance onto a piece of paper. The man allowed officers to search him, and they found nothing.
    At 7:36 p.m. a caller on Seward Street said a transformer had blown when city power came back on. SFD and SPD found active sparking at the box
    At 8:38 p.m. and later police received multiple calls about possible gunshots in the 1300 block of SMC.
    At 8:40 p.m. a caller said her ex was threatening to beat her up. Officers talked to the man at the police station and advised him of his options.
    At 10:18 p.m. a man was reported passed out on a bench at the city grid. He was placed on 12-hour hold.
September 16
    At 3:15 a.m. a caller complained of  a loud party in the 700 block of SMC. An officer spoke to a renter and issued a warning.
    A box of tools was reported stolen from a resident’s truck on Edgecumbe Drive.
    A dog found at Pioneer Park was returned to its owner across the street.
    At 11:46 a.m. police investigated a reported domestic conflict and made an arrest.
    At 12:15 p.m. a customer refused to pay for food delivered to her home by a restaurant. The restaurant was told it was a civil issue.
    At 2:25 p.m. a cruise ship passenger lost her identification and asked for it to be mailed to her if found.
    An Edgecumbe Drive garage was broken into and a chainsaw was missing, the owner said. Police are investigating.
    An ambulance was called for a woman lying in the middle of the road  on Harbor Drive.
    Police are investigating a report of a burglary on Edgecumbe Drive, reported at 4:44 p.m.
    At 7:26 p.m. a resident said the  steering cable was cut on her daughter’s car. Police were unable to find signs of criminal mischief.
    At 8:18 p.m. a domestic argument was reported, with one person trying to keep a woman from harming herself.
September 17
    At 12:29 a.m. a fight was reported outside a downtown bar. Police talked to three men who didn’t seem to be the aggressors, but were unable to find the fourth involved.
   
    Sitka Police
    David Evenson Jr., 27, was charged with violating conditions of release after testing positive for meth Friday.
    Jason Ulrich, 38, was cited for hit-and-run and unsafe backing Friday.
    James Nielsen, 64, was cited for having an open container Friday.
    Donald Kubik, 50, was charged with driving with a revoked license and having no proof of insurance Saturday.
    Garrett Allen Smith, 47, was charged with driving under the influence Saturday.
    Nicholas Hayne Middleton, 24, was charged with driving with a revoked license Saturday.
    Arthur D. Bentley, 52, was arrested on charges of assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence) and unlawful contact in the second degree, after he allegedly contacted a victim by phone, police said Sunday.
    Joseph M. MacTavish, 37, was arrested Sunday on a trooper warrant for failing to appear in court.
   
    Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received five requests for ambulances Friday, nine on Saturday, four on Sunday and one today.
