Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

September 16

At 3:30 a.m. a bear was reported in the 4700 block of HPR.

At 6:16 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Lake Street.

A traffic complaint came in from the 4600 block of HPR at 11:40 a.m.

Harassing phone calls were reported.

At 2:25 p.m. a traffic accident with damage was reported at the national park.

At 3 p.m. a traffic accident with damage was reported in the 600 block of HPR.

At 8 p.m. a disturbance was reported on Peterson Avenue.

A protective order was issued at 9:46 p.m.

September 17

At 1:59 a.m. a disturbance was reported at Totem Square.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 4:34 p.m. and 9:18 p.m. Wednesday and 4:49 a.m. today.
