Police received the following calls between 8 a.m. Aug. 31 and 8 a.m. today:

August 31

At 1:15 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Naomi Kanosh Lane.

At 5:07 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Harbor Drive.

At 11:18 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at a business at Maksoutof and Lincoln streets.

A hit-and-run was reported at McDonald’s at 3:38 p.m..

At 4:51 p.m. a bear was reported at 4010 HPR.

At 7:13 p.m. a bear was reported on Kruzof Street.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of Lake Street at 7:17 p.m.

A case of drunkenness was reported at 8:49 p.m. on Cedar Beach Road.

At 11:32 p.m. a disturbance was reported on Siginaka Way.

September 1

At 12:08 a.m. a disturbance was reported in the 700 block of  Katlian Street.

At 12:50 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Katlian, and at  1:30 a.m. a disturbance was reported there.

Citizen contact was logged at  ANB Harbor parking lot at 3:02 a.m.

A theft in the 600 block of Monastery was reported at 9:47 a.m.

Citizen contact was made at Baranof Trail Head at 10:29 a.m.

Drunkenness incidents at  downtown bars were logged at 4:29 p.m. and 8:21 p.m.

A bear was reported on Indian River Road at 6:26 p.m.

September 2

At 2 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at Petro Marine on Katlian.

 

Sitka Police

David Bleeker, 39, was charged Tuesday with being a drunk person on licensed premises.

William Patrick, 26, was charged with driving under the influence early today.

 

Emergency Calls

 

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 7:59 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. Tuesday. False fire alarms came in at 8:12 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. today.
