Police Blotter
Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
September 19
A fuel station said a man twice took fuel saying he’d pay later but he hadn’t. The station had the man’s driver’s license and the matter would be handled civilly.
A man said he was pushed by a renter he was evicting. Police determined no crime was involved.
Ambulances were called for a woman who fell; someone who was ill; and a woman with an injured wrist.
An intoxicated man refusing to leave the library asked for an ambulance, and was taken to the hospital.
At 8:44 p.m. a woman in the 1700 block of HPR said a dog she hadn’t seen before was on her neighbor’s porch. Police said they would try to find the owner, and told the woman to call back if the dog kept barking.
At 10:41 p.m. a 911 caller said his intoxicated girlfriend was becoming violent and throwing household items. Police determined it was a verbal dispute and there was no crime.
At 11:09 p.m. a fluffy black dog with only one eye was turned in after it was found wandering around the bridge without a collar. Police dropped off the dog at the shelter.

Sitka Fire Department received five ambulance calls Thursday.
