Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
September 18
At 12:26 a.m. a bear was reported in the 2200 block of SMC.
Traffic complaints came in at 8:12 a.m. from Andrews Street; at 9:23 a.m. from the O’Connell Bridge; at 6:27 p.m. from the 400 block of HPR.
A complaint about harassing phone calls came in from Vitskari Street.
A citizen assist in the 1700 block of SMC came in at 4 p.m.
A disturbance was reported at the skate park at 6:34 p.m.
At 11:44 p.m. drunkenness at a downtown bar was reported.
September 19
A case of minor consuming was reported at 12:14 a.m.
A disturbance was reported at a bank at 11:58 a.m.; at Alaska Airlines at 1:16 p.m.; in the 100 block of Lincoln Street at 3:15 p.m.; in the 200 block of Lincoln Street at 3:16 p.m.; and at SMC apartments at 6:20 p.m.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of Lake Street at 9:08 p.m. and at a downtown bank at 10:39 p.m.
September 20
A disturbance was reported at a Lake Street hotel at 3:30 a.m.
At 9:39 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 5000 block at HPR.
An animal problem was reported in the 3500 block of HPR at 9:14 a.m.
Sitka Police
Michael Roberts, 56, was charged Friday with driving under the influence.
Aleksei Wilson, 34, was charged with a probation violation.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received five ambulance calls Friday, five Saturday and three Sunday.
