Sitka Police Department received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.

September 21

At 9:53 a.m. a welfare check was requested at Kashevaroff Street and Edgecumbe Drive.

At 12:30 p.m. a two-car crash was reported in the 400 block of Katlian. No injuries resulted, police said.

A parking problem was reported at Eliason Harbor at 1:10 p.m.

Officers did a civil standby on Burkhart Street at 1:51 p.m.

At 3:12 p.m. police assisted the adult probation office.

An animal call came in from Price Street and SMC at 4 p.m.

At 6:57 p.m. police assisted an agency at the airport.

A traffic complaint came in from Lance Drive at 7 p.m.

September 22

At 12:57 a.m. a citizen was assisted at a downtown hotel.

 

 

Sitka Police

Manuel Elpi, 62, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Wednesday.

 

In Court

The probation of Ty Walker Davis, 26, was modified Monday after he was found to have violated conditions of probation. Probation was revoked and reimposed, with all remaining time resuspended. New conditions include obtaining a comprehensive behavioral health assessment and complete recommendations.
