Food Co-Op
Dear Editor: The Sitka Food Co-op would like to express its thanks and gratitude to Pastor Paul of Grace Harbor Church and its members for letting the co-op stage its monthly deliveries there this past year. As a start-up community oriented member-owned buying service (“Food for People, Not for Profit”) their support has been invaluable.
However, as our cooperative has grown, both in membership and volume of goods being delivered monthly, we now find ourselves looking for a new site to best serve our members. Even though we’re moving on, we shall always be grateful to everyone at Grace Harbor Church for lending us a helping hand during our first year of growth and development. Thank you.
