Thank You, Sitka
Dear Editor: As my fifth visit to Sitka, Alaska, comes to an end I realize once again that the many memories I leave with will stay with me always. I am truly blessed that so many folks have opened up their hearts and homes to me here. I am forever grateful to the Brandts, the Gordons, Bill and Irene Ferguson, and of course, Randy, Susan, Fiona and Jeremia Ferguson for the kindness you all have shown me.
I’ve met so many great people in sitka too numerous to mention; each person an individual unto themselves that makes Sitka as a whole such a great place to visit. Raven Radio has become one of my favorite stations. Fishing with Randy and the incredible flight above the surrounding area with Dave are among the highlights of my monthlong stay.
When I return home the words to describe the beauty of Sitka are almost impossible to find. The pictures I take home with me can never show the full depth of this beautiful land.
Thank you, Sitka, I look forward to my next visit.
