Unvaccinated
Dear Editor: It is concerning that people who are NOT vaccinated and travel to areas where there are hot spots.
I think that testing for COVID-19 should be mandatory for ALL unvaccinated passengers who have been out of town at the airport. Also mandatory testing for ALL unvaccinated passengers prior to departing Sitka.
I wish that ALL unvaccinated people in Sitka have mandatory testing minimum every 14 days. Majority of the unvaccinated are not getting the COVID-19 tests, because they think if they are “feeling” okay that they won’t be positive.

Dear Editor: I would like to thank the SEARHC Home Health Department for all they do for our community. Specifically, they have gone above and beyond in providing personalized care for my mother to help our family in keeping her in her home, assessing, treating, making suggestions for safety in the home and help in obtaining necessary durable medical equipment.
As our population ages, the need for our home health department will continue to grow and I’m hopeful you will be given the resources to continue to grow your department.
