Leading off in their first home games of the softball season, Sitka High’s Lady Wolves suffered two losses but rallied with a win to close the evening, Thursday at Moller Field.
The team first suffered a 10-1 blowout loss against Chugiak following a dominant showing by the Mustangs in the second inning. After that, Sitka fell to Kodiak 5-4.
But in the last game of the evening, Sitka bounced back and routed Wasilla 16-1 after scoring 11 runs in the first inning.
The Lady Wolves play again today and Saturday, also at Upper Moller. The schedule is below.
