Dear Editor: Sitka WhaleFest 2025 was a resounding success because of you.
Sitka WhaleFest was built on a strong foundation laid by years of loyal supporters. This year the festival was lifted to new and inspiring heights by the collective energy, generosity, and spirit of Sitkans. We felt that support everywhere: in the countless smiling faces filling Centennial Hall, the enthusiastic volunteers who helped in so many ways, the energy at our workshops, and the financial and in-kind contributions that sustained us throughout the weekend—fueling us with everything from good food and coffee to the funds that supported beloved events and student participation.
The Sitka Sound Science Center extends our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make Sitka WhaleFest 2025 not only successful but truly exceptional. Your support created an event that was meaningful, memorable, and full of community pride.
