Street Snow Clearing

Dear Editor: Perhaps the City should hire our local excavating contractors to clear our city streets.

I am sure their equipment operators and truck drivers would appreciate some good winter work.

Our city streets crews are doing their best, but we need to throw more horsepower at this unusual snow situation.

The street ditches and drainage systems are plugged with snow and ice.

If we don’t remove the huge berms and piles of snow, we are going to have a real mess on our hands when it warms up.
