Dear Editor: Alaska Native Brotherhood Camp 1 and Alaska Native Sisterhood Camp 4 are ever so grateful to you for publishing the PSAs for the five ‘‘Talking Circles’’ that occurred over the last five months. A special thanks to Cyndi Cassedy for her amazing skill juggling so many community events, dates, times and expert editing.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Episcopalians of St. Peter’s by-the-Sea for their contribution through ‘‘Encouraging Spiritual Growth and Outreach’’ funds which put fuel oil in the tank to heat the ANB Founders Hall, and afforded us coffee, tea and paper products.
The gatherings were truly wonderful, with new friendships forged, and older friendships deepened.
The Daily Sitka Sentinel was the only source utilized for these events. All of the public service announcements you publish are truly the ‘‘glue that holds this town together.’’ Reading your newspaper every evening is such a highlight for so many of us!
