Teri Lynn Floor
Dies at Age 55
Services for Teri Lynn (White) Floor, a former Sitka resident, are pending in Kenai and Sitka.
Teri died of cancer May 13 at her home in Sterling. She was 55.

She was born April 28, 1960, in Sacramento, California. The family came to Sitka in 1968, and she attended Sitka schools through high school. She later lived in Eagle River and Kenai, and in Chugiak, where she worked at the Chugiak Senior Center.
Teri loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting and gardening – she could grow anything, even in the harshest environment. She liked cooking and making jellies and jam, and enjoyed all animals.
She was a strong and caring woman, and stubborn; she bravely fought cancer four different times without ever complaining of her circumstances.
Teri was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wayne White, and her grandfather, Frank White.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Matt Jackson of Sterling; daughters Tara Uddipa of Las Vegas, Nev., Trisha Floor of San Diego, Calif., and Krista Hammock of Sitka; son Philip Floor of Chugiak; brother Mike White of Sitka; grandmother Dorthy White of Idaho; aunt Elaine Connely of Idaho; uncle Weldon White of Idaho; nephew Parker White of Washington; and grandsons Gavin Hammock, Trenton Hammock and Killian Hammock of Sitka, and Trevor Uddipa and Kealani Uddipa of Las Vegas, Nev.
