Unique Vehicle Parade

Dear Editor: The July 4 ‘‘Old, Unique, and Tiny Trucks’’ parade was a delight!

Why: The weather was somewhere between miraculous and phenomenal. We had a variety of vehicles and for the first time including two tiny trucks. I enjoyed the entire event. I think what I liked the very best is our friends and neighbors along the road waving and clapping and enjoying the caravan of different vehicles and the sun shining.

It was gratifying to see the huge turnout at the little roundabout behind the old Sitka hospital with the Long Term Care residents in mass who live there and staff. A sincere thank you to all who were part of this event. Thank you.
