WhaleFest Run

Dear Editor: More than 125 runners and walkers participated in the 29th Annual WhaleFest run on Saturday. We would like to thank everyone who came out to run, walk, cheer, and help out! Thank you to our stellar volunteer team: Elizabeth and Ian Bagley, KK and Aaron Prussian, Randy Hitchcock, Lisa Busch, Christine Horan, Augustine Garcia from Outer Coast, Carolyn and Steve Black, Caroline McIntyre, Tava Guillory.

Thank you to Lina Capp and Tiffany Pearson from Sitka Sound Science Center/WhaleFest for helping to coordinate the event. The conditions were perfect and some folks even spotted whales along the route! See you next year!
