Dear Editor: On behalf of our Sitka Cancer Survivor’s Society, we want to thank the Allen Marine Tour Company, for sponsoring their wildlife cruise this past Saturday, June 6, from 1 to 4 p.m., to us. The weather was surprisingly good. We had a good turnout in spite of so much going on in town Saturday. We saw whales, sea lions, a bunch of sea otters, a majestic view of town, and just enjoyed the relaxing cruise, and being aboard.
How can we say, “thank you,” enough to the generous company of locally owned Allen Marine. The young crew, Mo, Kate, Carter, Justin, and Alex, were kind, considerate of all our needs, and went beyond the call of duty of customer service.
We also want to thank the great news coverage of all the PSAs from the Daily Sitka Sentinel, Raven Radio, and KIFW. For all who came aboard the cruise for their support to us, and to those who have raffle tickets for the September drawing, thanks again,
