The match was the best 5-out-of-5 games, and it went the distance, with all five contests going down to the wire.

In the end, Yellow Jersey won its 20th title game out of 23 appearances in league championship matches. Scores were 25-23, 23-25, 23-25, 25-23, and 15-11.

It was noted the final was a fun and hard-fought match on both sides, with strong defense and hard serves by Quattro. Yellow Jersey’s Kevin Boddy was injured but played the entire match and had the match-winning kill.

The success of Yellow Jersey has been with strong female players providing excellent sets, passing, and digging. Natasha Suarez, one of the team’s best servers, had a super solid match with great defensive plays, and Suarez, Zaide Allen and Kelly Boddy stayed strong with consistent sets.

Throughout the season, teams normally don’t field all six of the players due to busy schedules, and this match was the first time all season that Yellow Jersey had all six players.

According to coaches it took some adjustment and communication but it came together for them.
