The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.
November 30
At 12:06 a.m. a caller on Lance Drive complained about noise.
At 10:23 a.m. two vehicles were reported to have collided in the airport parking lot. Some damage but no injuries resulted.
An animal problem was reported on Mills Street at 11:25 a.m.
A woman told police at the station about a traffic accident that had occurred. She was advised of her options.
At 2:03 p.m. a caller reported seeing a vehicle with its hazard lights on, in the 700 block of HPR. The vehicle was not in the area when officers arrived.
At 2:22 p.m. a witness reported seeing a driver hit a vehicle in the Eliason Harbor parking lot and then leave, but return later to leave a note. The two drivers were to handle the matter.
A parking problem was reported at the Raptor Center at 4:40 p.m.
At 5:18 p.m. one vehicle was reported to have hit another in a parking lot in the 700 block of Katlian, resulting in some damage. Drivers were advised of their options.
An animal call came in at 6:09 p.m. in the 1200 block of Edgecumbe Drive.
At 7:48 p.m. a welfare check was requested in the 100 block of Lincoln Street.
At 8:23 p.m. a man was reported banging on a door on DeArmond Street. He was gone when officers arrived.
At 9:08 p.m. several people were reported in the toilets at Sandy Beach, and a bonfire was burning on the beach. No one was in the toilets when officers arrived.
Some property found at Totem Square was turned in.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Wednesday, and one fire call after burning food set off a smoke alarm.
Marriages
Kenneth Norman Davis and Michelle B. Roberts applied for a marriage license in November.
Divorces
The following couples were granted divorces in November:
Olivia Marie (Rodriguez) Perez and John Perez; Elizabeth Edwards Gray and Forrest Chance Gray; and William Robert Pendleton and Saraya Kelsey Coburn.
In Court
A charge of assault in the fourth degree against Corina A. Rangel, 29, was dismissed without prejudice by the prosecuting attorney.
A Feb. 2 charge of assault in the fourth degree, causing fear of injury, filed against Arthur J. Kinnan, 71, was dismissed without prejudice by the prosecuting attorney.
