ACCIDENT SITE – A crew member with Hanson Maritime stands on the wheelhouse of a 30-foot charter boat as the boat is raised Saturday afternoon near Low Island, just off the southeast end of Kruzof Island. The boat was successfully raised and towed into town where it was put into storage ashore as authorities from the U.S. Coast Guard and Alaska State Troopers investigate the cause of the Memorial Day weekend accident. Bodies of three of the charter fishing clients were recovered, but the fourth, along with the boat captain, are still missing, authorities said Friday. (Sentinel Photo by James Poulson)

Sitka Community Hospital board of directors has asked SEARHC to stop providing most health care services to non-beneficiary patients. “During the collaborative process SEARHC has said they’re happy to do anything they can do to help,” said SCH Administrator Bill Patten. “This is one of the things they can do – not provide services to non-beneficiaries.”
