Dies at Age 93
Bernice Lorraine Stedman, a longtime Sitka resident, died March 17 at Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital. She was 93.
An obituary will be published in the Sentinel later.

‘Dream Cycles’
Sitka Tells Tales, the local live storytelling series, will present “Dream Cycles: Tales of Visions, Imagination and Bicycles” 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at Harbor Mountain Brewery Co.

The Assembly decided Tuesday against municipal participation in the U.S. Bicentennial Year commemorative project because of various objections to the project proposed: construction of a Russian tea house pavilion on the Centennial Building parking lot. The estimated local share of the project would be $37,000.
