Sitka police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
September 12
A man and a woman were reported arguing near a company truck they weren’t authorized to have. The company was undecided on whether to pursue a trespassing complaint.
A minivan parked on Bahovec Court was tagged as abandoned.
A bike was reported being seen stolen from the 700 block of Katlian Street. The bike was found and returned to the owner, and theft charges are to be forwarded.
A man reported catching a cat on Andrews Street. It was taken to the animal shelter.
At 7:11 a.m. a caller reported squatters at a building on Spruce Street. Police advised the caller on his options.
A landlord-tenant issue was reported on Spruce Street.
September 13
An electric scooter, possibly a rental, was found at the round-about. Police took possession.
At 2:54 a.m. two bears were reported in the 700 block of SMC. An officer chased them away.

Sitka Fire Department had four ambulance calls Tuesday and one early this morning.

Izaak S. Needham, 54, of Pelican, was charged Tuesday with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree and promoting contraband in the first degree.
