FROM TOP: Nelson Frank has most of the downtown to himself this morning. Frank said some folks were getting a little testy at the Pioneers Home where he lives.
Pete Roddy has no trouble following social distancing recommendations at the Back Door Cafe this morning. The cafe, like other eating establishments, plans to offer food to customers calling in advance.
Jim Michener opens the door to his business, Alaska Pure Sea Salt, this morning. Michener is apprehensive about the coming tour season.
The Franklin Building doors get a thorough cleaning this morning. Business owners are working hard to keep doors open.

Sitka Fire Department volunteer David Lewis received the Art Franklin Memorial award as an “exceptional dedicated member of the year” and volunteer Brady Fink was given the Mike Snelling Volunteer of the Year Award at the department’s annual meeting.
