Sitka Police Department received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
July 20
At 3:41 a.m. a bear was reported in the 2000 block of Edgecumbe Drive.
At 6:40 a.m. citizen contact was made on Anna Drive.
At 8:54 a.m. a man was reported sleeping in the court restroom. Officers sent him on his way.
At 10:39 a.m. a caller reported a problem with Snapchat. She was advised of her options in the non-criminal matter.
At 12:12 p.m. dogs were reported in the Sea Mart parking lot.
At 4 p.m. a caller on Vitskari Street complained about barking dogs.
At 5:40 p.m. a traffic complaint in the 2600 block of HPR was filed.
At 8:24 p.m. police were asked to check on the welfare of a parent and children. The caller reported later that all was well.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Tuesday.
