Wayne Alan Wrenn Jr.
Wayne Alan Wrenn Jr., of Marion, Kentucky, died unexpectedly January 15 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Kentucky. He was 66 years old.
Wayne was born October 3, 1958, at Mt. Edgecumbe hospital, the firstborn son of Wayne and Selina Wrenn. He attended Sitka High School before moving to Beaverton, Oregon.
He worked for Red Lion Restaurant and also joined a traveling carnival for a short time before moving to Marion, where he worked for Dollar General and Food Giant.
He was a shareholder of Shee Atika and Sealaska Corporation, and also enrolled as a citizen of Sitka Tribe of Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne A. Wrenn Sr. of Maine and Selina (Marks) Wrenn of Sitka; grandmother Mary Marks of Sitka; and brother Anthony (Tony) Wrenn of Sitka.
He is survived by his sisters, Sabrina Smith of Sitka, Monique Tow of Oregon, Camille Ferguson of Sitka and Oregon, and Suzette Burkhart of Sitka; brothers Frank Wrenn of Tennessee and Aaron Wrenn of Wasilla; son Cody Wrenn of Marion; daughters Kayla Neuharth of Anchorage and Livvy of Henderson, Kentucky.
He also is survived by several grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.
A small service was held in Kentucky with his brother Frank, son Cody, daughter Livvy and many friends he made while living in Kentucky present.
His family thanked STA, Shee Atika and Sealaska for helping with his funeral expenses. His son Cody will be sending him home to Sitka, his final resting place.
