A celebration of the life of Lane Martin Robinson will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at the Salvation Army church.
Capt. Turnie Wright will officiate at the service. A gathering will be held afterward, also at the church.
Lane died in a traffic accident here on Christmas Eve. He was 22.
He was born Dec. 8, 1990, at home in Salem, Ore. He attended Salem schools, and first came to Sitka about six years ago. He worked for Sitka AC Lakeside, Sitka Sound Seafood and McGlone & Son Enterprises. In Klawock he worked for AC, and in the sawmill. He also had done some fishing.
He loved his family, loud music, drawing, working with his hands, going fast, and pizza, his family said. He was exceptional at math, and was very creative.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Edward McGlone.
He is survived by Chanel Mackie and their son, Tyler Michael Robinson, of Sitka and Klawock; his mother, Tina Renee Miller of Sitka; his father, Lee Wallace Robinson of Salem; a brother, Joshua Scott McGlone of Sitka; an aunt, Juli Miller, a cousin, Jon Miller and an uncle, Jace V. Miller, all of Salem; and his grandmother, Margaret Miller of Salem.
Chanel’s family includes her mother, Melissa Mackie; stepfather Randy Dilts; brothers Brayde Dilts, Blaise Dilts and Bryan Mackie; and grandmother Tina Kato, all of Klawock.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lane Robinson Memorial Fund, at First Bank.
