Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:
July 17
At 12:55 a.m. a bear was reported on Johnson Street.
Civil disputes were reported at 11 a.m. in the 4600 block of HPR; 2:27 p.m. in the 3300 block of HPR; and 8 p.m. in the 2400 block of SMC.
A theft was reported at Market Center.
A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Harbor Drive at 11:31 p.m.
July 18
Disturbances were logged in the 200 block of Katlian at 1:53 a.m. and in the 800 block of Lake Street at 2:06 a.m.
At 6:35 a.m. a civil dispute was reported on Burkhart Street.
At 1 p.m. a threatening situation was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln.
Trespassing was reported at ANB Harbor.
At 5:32 p.m. a caller reported suspicious activity in the 4200 block of HPR.
July 19
At 12:42 a.m. a bear was seen at 1930 Anna Circle.
At 12:48 a.m. a drug violation was reported at Crescent Harbor.
At 2:44 a.m. a bear was reported on Lance Drive.
At 10:14 a.m. a bear was reported in the 1900 block of SMC.
At 10:30 p.m. a bear was reported on Anna Drive.
July 20
At 12:03 a.m. a bear was reported on Jamestown Drive.
At 4:46 a.m. a caller reported a disturbance on Burkhart Street.
Sitka Police
Moses Jaquin, 19, was charged Saturday with criminal trespass in the second degree and violating conditions of release.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Friday, two Saturday and three Sunday.

Harvey Kitka of Sitka has been reappointed to the Southeast Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Council, U.S. Agriculture and Interior Departments officials announced. The council includes two other Sitkans, Eric Jordan and John Littlefield.
