Ranger-Led Walks,
Talks at SNHP
Sitka National Historical Park offers daily guided programs teaching visitors about the park’s natural and cultural resources.
This week’s schedule includes:
–Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. Russian American walking tour, 1 p.m. Totem Walk and 2:30 p.m. Salmon Talk.
–Thursday, 11 a.m. Totem Walk and 12:30 p.m. Salmon Talk.
–Friday, 2:30 p.m. Salmon Talk.
The Russian-American History Walking Tour leaves from the Russian Bishop’s House. All other ranger-led tours meet at the visitor center.

Emblem to Meet
Sitka Emblem Club will meet 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Sitka Elks Lodge for a business and social meeting.
Seniors Offered
Ceramics Class
SAIL is partnering with Sitka Fine Arts Camp to offer a five-week handbuiling ceramics class with Wes Holloway for anyone over age 60.
Classes will be held 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Oct. 26-Dec. 11. Transportation and snacks will be provided. The cost is to be determined, and space is limited. To RSVP contact Claire at 747-6859.
