Stephen Brian Henman
Stephen Brian Henman died in Sitka March 13, 2019, at the age of 31.
A small gathering will be held in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at a later date.
Stephen was born Oct. 24, 1987, in Cheyenne, the son of Stephanie Morris and Brian Henman. He lived there until 2004, when he moved to Marysville, Washington, and he later lived in Sitka. He was self-employed.
Stephen enjoyed math, science, books, learning about animals, and studying how the world worked.
He was a very dedicated brother, uncle and son, loving and selfless – so much so he would give a complete stranger the shirt off his back, his family said.
And he had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include his mother, Stephanie Henman, of Lynnwood, Wash.; his sister Sabrina Nicholas and her husband, Robert Nichola II; his dad, Anthony Cook, and two sisters Anna and Kara Cook, all of Sitka; a nephew, Jayson Henman of Lynnwood; sister Stephanie Olson; aunts Justine Hastings, Clara Neebling and Cinnamon King; uncle, Larry Henman; grandmother and grandfather Dodie and Richard Broetzman; godmother and aunt Jeri Thayer; cousins Nic and Kirsten Espinoza; and many nephews and nieces.
