Marcia Anne (Tuttle Lutterman) Butler
Marcia Anne (Tuttle Lutterman) Butler passed away January 25, 2022, in Vancouver, Washington, from cancer. Her two sons were at her side.
She was born May 22, 1942, and grew up in Kirkland, Washington. She kept in touch with many of her Lake Washington High School class of 1960 friends over the years.
She later lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, then Juneau, Oceanside, Oregon, Sitka, and Vancouver, Washington.
She graduated from Eastern Oregon University at age 58, and spent most of her professional life as a tax accountant. Her greatest joy was “beating the IRS legally.”
She and her husband Jim owned the H&R Block office on Lake Street from 1997 to 2007.
Marcia was predeceased by the love of her life Jim Butler.
She is survived by two sons, Kurt (Teresa) Lutterman of Bellevue, Washington, and Jon Lutterman of Milwaukee, Oregon; grandson Sean Lutterman of Seattle, Washington; and nieces and nephews.
She chose to end life on her terms using Washington’s Death With Dignity. Her remains will be processed by Natural Organic Reduction and supplement Washington’s ecosystem.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that remembrances be made in her name to End Of Life Washington at endoflifewa.org.
