Services have been scheduled for Scott Reno Falzerano Jr., a lifelong Sitka resident.
A private service for close friends and family will be held at the United Pentecostal Church at 101 Cascade Creek Road 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. At 1 p.m., a public celebration of life will be held at Sheldon Jackson College Sweetland Hall.
Scotty was born March 28, 1994, in Sitka. He graduated from Sitka High School on May 28, 2012.
He was a commercial fisherman, seafood processor, and sea mammal hunter. It was discovered he had passed on Nov. 15, 2013, at age 19.
An avid outdoorsman, Scott loved the wilderness. He enjoyed camping, hiking, hunting and fishing. He spent much of his life in the woods and on the water. He went out on the boat frequently with his dad, Scott Sr., and with his closest friends. He hoped to one day become a gunsmith and open his own shop.
Scott had a meek and humble soul and a gentle spirit. Those who were privileged to know him well and to call him “friend” know of his sensitive nature and will miss his beautiful smile and his loving way.
