Services have been scheduled for Rosalina Baldonado Pagaling, a Sitka resident since 1982.
A viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 10, 2014, at Prewitt’s Funeral Home.
Mass and a memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 11 at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church.
Burial will be in the Philippines.
Rosalina died Oct. 4, surrounded by her family. She was 88.
She was born March 29, 1926, in Hilo, Hawaii, the daughter of Teodora Ulangco and Alejandro Baldonado. Her father had joined the U.S. Army in 1922.
A homemaker, she enjoyed crafts, and especially loved to crochet. After moving to Sitka, she volunteered for many years at the Swan Lake Senior Center.
Rosalina is survived by son Bensito Pagaling of Reno, Nev., and daughters Tessie Santa Ana (Avelino) of Sitka and Melinda Basuel (Samuel) of Delano, Calif.
Her grandchildren are Bensito Pagaling Jr. (Cheryl), Mary Bustillo (Romeo), Mark Santa Ana and AJ Santa Ana, of Washington; Lucelle Santa Ana, Bhennie Pagaling, Jeannette Pagaling and Lynnette Pagaling, Reno, Nev.; Philip Basuel (Cynthia), and Mike Basuel, Delano, Calif.; and Sharlene Omandam (Lowell) of Nebraska.
Her great-grandchildren are Shalayna, Shaian Pagaling, Honey Girl, Christian, Romeo Bustillo, Chanel Basuel, Meleeya, Jacob Omandam and King Richardson; and her great-great-grandchild is Alani.
She also is survived by cousins and other relatives in California, and nieces and nephews in the Philippines.
Pallbearers will be Bensito Pagaling Jr., Mark Santa Ana, AJ Santa Ana, Bhennie Pagaling, Philip Basuel and Mike Basuel.

Police Blotter: Preston Williams reported $6 worth of gas was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at the Kiksadi. Paul Garwood said two tires on the KSA-TV van were slashed while the truck was parked at the Hobby House. George Reid, Arrowhead Trailer Court said guns, steamer trunks and decanters valued at $1,500 were stolen by burglars. A telephone was reported detached from the booth next to the post office.
