Today’s count of absentee ballots in the Oct. 5 city election showed Kevin Mosher the apparent winner of the second seat on the Assembly by an 11-vote margin over Rachel Moreno.
In the overall results Dave Miller got 1,309 to votes to win the other Assembly seat. Mosher’s total was 883 to Moreno’s 872.
The absentee ballots were counted at Harrigan Centennial Hall starting at noon, with the clerk’s office reporting the final results before 3 p.m.
Amy Morrison and Todd Gebler were the only two candidates for the School Board.
The advisory question about whether to sell the old Sitka Community Hospital buildings and properties passed 1,105 to 538.
Results are unofficial until the Assembly certifies them at the Oct. 12 meeting.
