Quilt Auction March 3
Ocean Wave Quilters Guild will hold its annual scholarship auction 7 p.m. March 4 at Harrigan Centennial Hall.
The quilt guild will hold its regular meeting prior to the auction at 6:30 p.m. in Room 1.
The 7 p.m. event will include two types of silent auctions and an outcry auction. Refreshments will be available.
All are invited to bid on mini-quilts, fabric, and other crafting-related items to help raise scholarship funds for high school and Sitka Fine Arts Camp students.
Monthly meetings, September through June, are open to all, members or not. Those who pay the $25 dues receive a monthly newsletter, discounts on classes and other benefits.

Zumba Sessions

Zumba continues at the Sheet’ká Ḵwáan Naa Kahídi 12:15 p.m. Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. Fridays, and 2 p.m. Sundays throughout March.

Live Life Retreat
Slated for April
Sitka Tribe of Alaska and Indigenous leaders Johanna Corpeno and Waylon “Pee” Pahona will talk about ‘‘living your best life in wellness and healing’’ at the Livpse Life Powerfully Retreat 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, through noon Thursday, April 17.

‘Almost Spring’
Concert on Tap
The fifth-grade band “Almost Spring” concert, will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at the Sitka Performing Arts Center.
The concert will feature full band pieces as well as solos and small ensembles. Admission is free and open to the public.
Positive Body
Image Yoga Set
A yoga class focused on positive body image and developing the skills and confidence to attend any yoga class will be offered 6-7 p.m. Mondays in March at Yoga Union.

Girl Scout Cookies

Pre-ordered Girl Scout cookies deliveries will continue throughout the week.
Those who did not order may purchase cookies from booths set up this weekend. AC Lakeside sales will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 8. Sales at Sea Mart Quality Foods will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, March 9.
Those unable to pick up cookies at the cookie booths can send a text to 907 623-7456 for delivery. Girl Scout sales will continue until sold out.
