American Street Now One-Way

Sitka city public information officer Melissa Henshaw issued this  news release at noon today:

“The City and Borough of Sitka Public Works Department has modified American Street to a one-way street heading northbound in order to preserve parking and assist with traffic flow. Lincoln Street or Race Street can be used to access American Street. This modification will be in place until further notice for the summer season.
