Presentation Thanks

Dear Editor: Last week, Lt. Ryan Browning, of the Homer Police Department, gave a presentation ‘‘Parenting in the Digital Age.’’ The program discussed what our youths are seeing online and how it is affecting their mental health.

This was a grassroots effort, and it would not have been possible without the following: Sitka Elks Lodge, First Bank-Sitka branch, AC Lakeside, Sitka Woman’s Club, Sitka Aspen Hotel, Mean Queen Restaurant, Harry Race Pharmacy, Sweet Sisters Caramels, and the Sitka Rotary Club.  

Thank you for all who donated and thank you to all who attended. 

Keep talking with your kids, let them know you love them and that you care, every day.
