GoFundMe Live for

Sitka DDF Team

The Sitka High School Drama, Debate and Forensics team, state champions for the seventh consecutive year, is getting ready to travel to national competition in Arizona in the summer.

‘‘Drama, Debate and Forensics is an after-school activity at the high school level where students participate and perform in over a dozen different styles of speech, debate, and acting events,” Coach Christian Litten said. “Southeast Alaska, and Sitka specifically, has a long tradition of excellence in this activity and now we’re taking the next big step.”

Litten started a GoFundMe asking the community to support ‘‘these bright young minds as they help put Sitka’s program on the map.’’
